About Bright Services
We started Bright Services because our founders, Shawn and Bonnie Varner, saw a gap in the client service experience. While other companies funneled their energy and resources into new build and commercial projects, Central Oregon’s homeowners were getting left out in the cold.

Are you licensed and bonded?
Yes, all of our residential electricians are licensed and bonded. This ensures that every member of our team adheres to the same high standards of work quality.
What are your service fees? Can I get an estimate before the work starts?
At Bright Services, we understand that no two projects are alike. That’s why we don’t have a “menu” of set prices. Instead, our residential electricians will work with you to determine your needs, budget, and timelines. We then develop an estimate based on those factors.
Is your work under warranty?
We offer a one year warranty on materials and labor. Any electrical accessories we install (ex. appliances, light switches, power sockets) may be under a separate manufacturer’s warranty.
Can I do electrical work myself?
Legally, homeowners can do their own electrical work. If you have some knowledge of electrical systems and a little DIY savvy, this can be the easiest solution to simple projects. But, if there’s any concern for your safety or the safety of your home, we strongly recommend contacting a professional electrician to complete your project. Licensed and bonded electricians, like the team at Bright Services, will make sure you have the appropriate permits and that the work is done to code. Plus, with our years of experience, we can take a proactive approach to predict and prevent future issues.
What is your service areas?
We’re proud to serve a 50 mile radius around our location in Bend, Oregon. Our dispatch fee does increase for locations further than 30 miles from our office. Contact a member of our team to get an estimate.
